Project Scope:  

Supply and installation of structural steel for 10 individual buildings for new Youth Justice Centre near Werribee. In order to meet program required CPE had up to 4x crews working across multiple work fronts whilst continuing to meet the challenges created by changes in priorities and interfaces with other trades with up to 400 individuals onsite the majority of the project.

Project Scope:  

CPE completed the structural steel and aluminium cladding package for the Ancillary structures of the Bell 2 Moreland Elevated Train Line. This included working 24/7 to minimise downtime whilst the old line was removed to allow the installation of the new structures.

CPE’s structures included maintenance and emergency access stairs which were erected underneath and around the concrete beams supporting the train line. Cantilevered signal platform blisters which were installed in modules immediately adjacent to private property, necessitating in setting up of crane with asymmetric outrigger positions (variobase), due to footprint available for setup.

Project Scope:  

Structural Steel and Roofing works for new Depot to enable Bell – Preston project main works. Depot included office/amenites multilevel walkway, workshop and ancillary structures.

CPE’s ability to work across multiple trades was instrumental in keeping the broader project on schedule. With multiple design changes late in the project and operating within a very tight site to place a 2 level structural steel walkway between 4x insitu structures, CPE’s ability to provide solutions on the go and complete the entire structure (steel, flooring, balustrading, roofing and cladding) enabled program effects to be minimised and works to be accelerated wherever possible.

Project Scope:  

Supply, fabrication and installation works along the Ballarat to Melbourne Rail Line, including: structural steel, insulated panel roofing, perforated aluminium cladding, fibre cement sheeting and aluminium cassette cladding.

Initially brought on board to provide structural steel for Rockbank, the first of five station rebuilds, CPE ended up a preferred sub-contractor, working on all five station builds, and taking responsibility for multiple facets of the project. Simultaneously working with separate construction and project management teams across all 5 builds in the line upgrade. CPE were able to offer an integrated solution, with a single point of contact. The crew were able to streamline the process of installing structural steel, PIR panels and multi-cell fibreglass wall sheets and skylights to both meet a demanding timeframe and provide a quality finish to an architectural focal point of the campus.

Project Scope:  

Construction of structure and cladding for school bus shelter, including working closely with builder and architect from concept design stage, to ensure buildability and cost effectiveness of structure without compromising design intent. By utilising one multi-skilled
crew we were able to streamline the process of installing structural steel, PIR panels and multi-cell fibreglass wall sheets and skylights to both meet a demanding timeframe and provide a quality finish to an architectural focal point of the campus.
