Of significance in this package was the fabrication and installation of the Bunjil Canopy,

The architectural complexity involved in the fabrication and installation was a key factor in the successful delivery of the project,

Due to critical opening dates of the station, Concept Rigging were engaged to take on additional works due to their ability to consistently deliver on key installation dates for the client,

The station was opened on time and both CPE Construction and Concept Rigging played an import role in this being achieved,

Project Scope: 

CG&C Group businesses Connex, CPE Construction and CGC Site Services were engaged to complete upgrade works to the Greenham Tongala Facility,

One part of the scope involved the installation of a new cow race and CG&C Group was given the target of completing shop drawings, procurement, fabrication, galvanizing, and installation within 1 month to meet the facility opening date,

CG&C Group used its accelerated design process to commence procurement whilst shop drawings were still being completed,

Both Connex and CPE Construction worked overtime during weekends to ensure that the program stayed on track,

CG&C Group worked closely with long standing suppliers Infrabuild and Furphy Galvanizing to ensure a quick lead times on steel processing and galvanizing,

Finally, CGC Site Services received weekend delivery of the steelwork and completed installation in time for the opening,

This project proved to be a robust test of the group’s processes and ability to adapt to a fast-paced delivery,

Project Scope: 

CG&C Group businesses Connex, CPE Construction, and CGC Site Services were engaged to complete the structural steel and building packages at the Shepparton Stabling as well as some other minor packages across the project.

The Shepparton Stabling Yard works were part of the critical path for the entire project and as such, achieving handover dates was essential,

Using the integration within the businesses, CG&C Group were able to reduce delivery timeframes for key steel elements that help reduce the overall program.

CPE Construction also managed key subcontractors across various trades (Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, Glazing, Flooring, Tiling, Roofing/Cladding) to ensure continuity of progress and any interface risks,

During the project there were numerous design and architectural issues that CG&C Group assisted the client by finding cost effective and timely solutions, this was a key factor in delivering a successful outcome for the client.
